- When I was young, we had a 60's Beetle and a 70's Kombi. My VW love affair was rekindled when my wife bought a 97 Polo 6N. Since then she has bought a new 2014 Golf 90TSI, which she still has, and I have bought a 1994 Mk3 Golf GL, 2001 Polo 6N2 and I now have a 2015 GTI Polo 6C. All have been or are manuals. VWs are such great value, and so useable and enjoyable.
