So, we've had Golf's in our private and work lives, diesel and petrol. When it came time to buy a van to cart my drum kit and PA around in, well it just had to be a Vee Dub. So Vincent came to live with us (as in, Vincent Van Go - my son named him). I've always lusted after a T2 Kombi, but I needed something a bit more reliable and user-friendly.
Vincent is an 08 T5 Transporter, 2.5 TDI, 4Motion, 6 speed manual, 3 seater. He ticks all the boxes, but I have half his dash hanging out at present with a new head unit install under way.
Funny how when you own a van, suddenly everyone needs furniture moved somewhere....
