VIC Newbie... Golf R

Hey guys, Just the standard quick hello... Name's Jad, 29, from Melbourne.

I've been playing with cars for years, mostly my previous daily driver (with several track days) which was an R33 Skyline GTST. That thing was getting old, so I decided to join the current century and get myself a hot hatch.

Was originally planning to go with the smart choice & get myself a Mk6 GTi, but soon realised that I'd owner the 'second from the best' Skyline for ages (always wanted the GTR). Wasn't keen on making that mistake again, so I found myself a Mk6 R. She's white, factory black 19's, leather, sat nav, blah blah blah... only thing I've done is stuck some Advan AD08 tyres under her.
Had it for about a couple of months, and already thrown it around Winton Raceway. Managed a 1:47.4 on a wet day, and somehow came out as number 1 on the time sheets for the whole day.

Anyway, that's probably enough from me. Keen to pop my head up around the place every so often, might even rock up and say hi at Dak Dak Cafe tomorrow... See ya 'round!
