TREG TDI V6 two years on

After two years with my 08 chipped TREG V6 TDI and 88,000 k on the clock, a few issues with exhaust sensors, a wasted turbo waste gate we're ready to see if the beast can do some of what my Defender did 20 years ago.

Vehicle has been brilliant (apart from above issues - all under warranty) so now we're heading out West. Broken Hill, Oodnadatta track, Dalhousie, Finke, Alice, Palm Valley, Kings Canyon, Uluru, Docker River, Great Central Road Warburton,then to turn off to Anne Beadell highway, up the Connie Sue Highway, back to Docker, on to Sandy Blight and the out to Mt Conner and Kulgera and the if no vehicle issues back home via Simpson Desert.

Stats: around 1000k per week - lots of freeway plus Pacific Highway, Diamaris Tyres 52k, Pirelli PZeros 36k plus about another 15k by the look of them. Original Rotors. Cooper ATR's for Trip, RNS510 + VMS for Navigation, Nat Luna Fridge for goodies like food, UHF CB + Sat phone for comms...no roof bars (yet) - off in a month - hope teething problems are over but a bit edgy about the electronics. Defender has Diesel engine and two AA batteries (well almost) so I can fix that if it croaks. Re Tyres - had X5 for 4 years and got 140k out of one set of tyres (type before Diamaris) so TREG much heavier on the rubber. Great vehicle.
