Howdy, All.

I'm a long time VW owner but only recently found these forums.

I'm about to trade in my 2006 T5 on a new model runout MY15 T5. The 2006 manual has been a gem. It's done 235,000k with only a set of struts and shocks, three sets of tyres and the original brake linings. From that you might guess it has been 95% highway driving - doing product deliveries onto the mainland from Tassie.

The only hiccup has been an intermittent fault where it would somehow manage to turn the cruise control off all by itself! It seems to have been caused by an equally intermittent defective brake light bulb of all things. And the A/C pollen filter under the dash does not like elm tree seeds.

Anyway, I'm about to collect a new TDI340 DSG. First job will be an RNS510 upgrade.
