Hi All,
I bought Tiguan MY19 in February 2019 132 Comfortline with Driver Assist and Sound & Vision and Luxury packages. For past two months I observed that High beam is not automatically switching on and dipping while driving on highway in the dark. Though I am able to manually push the lever to switch on and off. The software option of Dynamic Light Assist seems to be missing or vanished. If anyone encountered this issue, please help me.
Cheers
RP

I set my light assist on my 2018 SEL using vcds and it worked fine, then my car went in for a service at the dealership. Afterwards the DLA has been disabled and I couldn’t re activate it with vcds.

Hi All,
Yes, the light worked on Auto dimming and going on high beam owing to environmental light condition or dipped approached another car. to resolve an issue with my bluetooth connectivity, I have reset it to factory setting and all of a sudden the feature vanished. Can anyone help me restore the feature. It is annoying as VW Australia says this feature is not available on my car.

RP
Exactly how did you do this and with what tool.
Auto dimming is NOT DLA it is High Beam Assist where you push the stalk forward two pushes and if a car comes toward you it just dips the lights and goes back to high beam when they pass
DlA is when it stays in high beam and the light beams split to leave the oncoming car in the dark and rest still in high beam.
Is only enabled by default in Allspaces up to 2019 and can be coded in shorty highlines with DAP

as Hillbilly said - tell VW Australia that your "High Beam Assist has stopped working", not "Dynamic Light Assist"........despite the menu in the infotainment system calling it dynamic light assist.

Thanks a lot for your response. Now without Manually flickering the leaver I do not get High beam automatically while driving on highways in dark condition. Similarly, it requires manual efforts to switch off high beam. I remember it use to go on high beam and dipped auto without any manual intervention.
Could you please guide me how can I verify "High Beam Assist" in my car systems settings.

RP
If its enabled you should be able to push the stalk forwards and get a blue icon like Highbeam with an A in it You need to go into your MMI and tick it as being on and then when over 37kph with dipped beams on and stalk pushed forward it should work It can also be enabled to remember last setting
I find it unusual that is was enabled in the first place as isnt usually
