    Second Golf experience

    Hi all,

owned a MK6 GTD for a short time in 2012, loved it. had to sell it due to relocation overseas, but recently had to buy another set of wheels in Australia. another Golf was high on the list. Ended up getting a 2010 MK6 118TSI as a daily commuter for the wife.

the thing has a DSG shudder, not a major, but annoying. having the garage look into it this week, fingers crossed nothing too major.

Considering getting it chipped, any suggestions?

    cheers,

Hi mate , welcome there are a dozen or 3 options on tuning it. All will be great for you. You just need to decide how much you like to spend ) and if you like a workshop to do it for you or if you like to play around at home. By playing around I mean plugging a cable into the OBD port under the steering wheel and you press ok on a remote like device the cost would be anything from around $600 and up I guess.
