Red face Pleased to Join, Hi !

Great to know this forum exists, just a couple of happy VAG owners, we had our Eos MY12 2.0TDI from new up until recently and traded her for an MY14 Eos 155TSI. We did 80,000 reliable trouble free klms in her and now since VAG are no longer importing Eos into Aus, we decided with the klms and the love we have for the Eos config we would go to whatever MY14 we could get, limited choices, seems everyone is hanging on to them and despite asking every dealer to even "import" one from Europe for us, at which they all scoffed!, we came up with our new baby quite out of the blue, anyway we had to settle (gladly) for an MY14 155TSI in Salsa Red with 20k klms on the clock, seemed well looked after, although there is a hint of someone smoking in her. Keyless entry, sat nav, adaptive suspension and convenience pack, all make this lovely a great addition to the stable. The other sweet VAG offering is the SKODA Superb Elelgance combi, just a beautiful machine, space, performance, build, shape, finish and European presence, at a ridiculous non-european price.

Happy to be here and share our experiences in the years to come.

    Go the All Blacks!

Welcome to the forum from another 2 time Eos owner.

I bought a Reflex Silver MY09 147TSI new and after 4 1/2 years and 90,00KM, realising that VWA had ceased importing the Eos sold it and bought a new MY14 155TSI in Candy White. Wanting to continue with a hardtop convertible, the only choice was an Eos or a Renault or Peugeot with considerably less power so the decision was easy.

I'm sure you'll love the 155TSI, plenty of grunt but will drink more than the TDI.

    Cheers

    Thank You George,

It was not easy getting an MY14, all last MY14 VW stock sold out months ago and the dealers couldn't find any, then out of the blue, one pops up, no choice, just grab it!, our thoughts being it will be one of the last in Oz, it had everything on it, was classic sports car red with White leather, gusty motor, low klms and not a mark.
Alternatives didn't rate at all.The Golf CC was not in the same class, the other makers couldn't offer a hard top with a sunroof, not even those over $100k, and we really had no interest in the Pugs Reggies or Opel variants. This beautiful car is unique, its going to be rare down the track as is apparent now, already being retained and sought after!.

We only have one issue, its a keyless entry but the roof wont go past remote opening the sunroof and windows following the entry protocols in the Owner's manual. Will experiment with key positioning and closeness to vehicle then if no go, refer to our dealer and get them to check out "why" the full roof opening doesn't complete. (Typical 1st World problem!).

    cheers
