Hi,

I'm Steve from Brisbane, I'm not new to the VW scene having started off with a 1973 Kombi, then following that with a 1963 Beetle and a 1959 Beetle. However they are all now long gone and I was hoping to get myself back into another VW. So I'm here to research what model I want to get and to join the Watercooled community!

Welcome to the forum.

I'm biased but the MK2 Golf would be my choice for a daily driver. Mine did over 1000 k's a week and I'd buy another in a heartbeat if my wife let me.
