I had the oil light come on my T4 1995 diesel transporter this morning and then checked the engine after only driving it for 5 mins. There was oil coming from the back of the Coolant bottle from an outlet and it had sprayed oil all around the engine bay. There is oil in my Coolant bottle too. Can anyone help me to diagnose the problem. I hope it's not as catastrophic as I'm thinking. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do they have the same heat exchanger between the oil filter and the block as the older Golfs and Ventos. If so they can corrode and let the coolant mix with the oil.
