NSW Tiguan MY19 Newbie

I'm super new to this but keep to look into fixes and enhancements to my MY19 Tiguan. Currently I have this issue.

About 2 weeks ago my Tiguan Second Generation MY19 Highline while on a call the sound went all tinny (lacking bass). At the time I thought it might be related to my iPhone, but I tried numerous iPhones and they all sound the same. Then I thought it might be a CarPlay issue and switched to bluetooth and it sounded the same. Then I thought it might be the amplifier for the mobile phone but on checking the fuse box layouts it would the in glove compartment fuse F16 (2 band amplifier for mobile communication) might be the culprit only to find that my car doesnt have an F16 fuse.

So now I am at loss to solve the issue, is this the in the amplifier in the head unit has blown (unlikely I would have thought as something is coming through, just lacking bass).

Has anyone else seen this before or can point me in the right direction for simple fixes?
