Noob right here!
Hi Guys and Girls,
Just got the wife a VW Arteon so I thought I'd join you guys and see what your thoughts are on things
Have had a few cars in the past, including a 07 markV gti, 12 Sti WRX and am currently driving a 17 AMG A45. All cars have (had) a few mods under the bonnet, so am not new to modifications. Big differnce here is the Arteon is the wife's daily so can't make it anything that screams or becomes unreliable.... I know you are probably thinking "just leave it stock" or "should think about trading in the missus" but both those options are not really a possibility...
I already eyed out a MST CAI (I am running one of these on my A45 so I know they do a good job and are a neat looking unit) and am on the hunt for a good plug in ECU, which I will hunt around for and obviously post up my findings.
Cheers in advance for the help,
Artimus

Hey Artimus, welcome to the forum, I’m a newbie to lol. What motor does the arteos run? I can’t even remember what they look like, I’ll have to google it. I’ve got a boring old golf wagon lol that amg must be a hoot, I have given the a180 hatches a tune up before but when I see those fancy spoilers and colored rims I know I got no chance 😂

Hi mate and welcome. The Arteon is a nice car, congrats. By far the most popular and proven "best" plug in tune for the 2.0L engine in MQB platform cars used in the Golf R, Audi S3 and Arteon is the Burger Motorsport JB1 or JB4. The JB4 is more customisable for other engine mods like downpipes/intercoolers etc but if you wont be doing any of that stuff the JB1 will do the job perfectly.
