I picked up a white 2018 Arteon just before xmas , replacing a 2012 lexus gs350 fsports.

The lexus was a great car but the tech was starting to be old, and I wanted more safety gear to help keep me safe on the roads - getting old now...

Tested a few options, the genesis model, kia Stinger, a couple lexus update models, even hyndai I30 SR models, and didnt feel they were what I wanted. I eventually tested the VW Arteon & found it was pretty impressive value for money. Soon after I was arranging for a white one with the sunroof / speakers / wheels to be delivered.

Just notched up 2000kms & still having fun learning the tech on the car. Trying to read the manual but its a bit dense / small text. I would much prefer a downloadable PDF to flick through on the pc but all the links I can find are scam sites. Seems odd that there is nothing easy available for this.

I just recently figured out the one symbol I see a bit too often means I am travelling too close to the car in front, so thats one useful guidance item.

Anyway thats my intro, now I will have a poke around the rest of the site & hope to find some useful pointers around. Especially interested in any dash options that can be programmed in that are not by default enabled on the car , eg traffic alerts, sign recognition, and more I expect.
