I've just purchased a new B7 Passat Wagon. its a 130TDI Highline. It now shares the garage with my 1966 VW Karmann Ghia Cabriolet which is a full bare metal restoration project.

The Passat replaces a 1999 Vectra which managed 210,000 Klms without mechanical failure but was written off, hit by a fox and damaging the front radiators, so putting it beyond economical repair. I hope the Passat is as reliable.
