    New T Roc R owner

    G'day all,

I've finally taken receivership of my new T Roc R and am very happy indeed.

I'm interested in finding out if it's possible to modify the exhaust note for Race Mode, without going down the road of a new exhausted.

    Cheers,

Not just for Race mode I'm afraid. You need to actually change some hardware to make a change to the exhaust note. Cheapest is to do a resonator delete which will make it slightly louder, but that will be in all drive modes though.

Alternatively, you could play around with the fake sound generator a bit, but you need a coding tool such as VCDS or OB11 to do that.

Appreciate the msg and information mate.
I would be ok with a resonator delete across all drive modes, I think. I’ll look in to it.

Not sure how much I like the fake generator as it is now. Sounds more like a boxer engine to me than the previous R (s) with the AP exhaust. Would have been great if it was a standard for the AUS market
