New Skoda Owner

Hello all,

I'm picking up a manual 2014 RS162 Wagon on Saturday, I'm looking forward to learning more about these and other VW group vehicles. I'm coming from an XR6 Turbo and have also owned a turbo Skyline and Fiesta ST in the past. I had been looking at both the MK 7 GTI and the Skoda, in the end I guess I liked the idea of a medium size wagon that goes quite well and definitely has a better interior that my previous vehicles.

Mate you will love it. I just got out of a 2016 RS 162 manual wagon. The only reason was I got a great deal on a 206 Superb Sportline. Very solid enjoyable car with a ton of room. The EA888 has so much potential for power increase , JB4 being the best bang for buck. Head over to the Skoda Octavia forum and find out heaps more. Welcome to the family. Im onto my third.

Cheers alfa6, I'm loving it so far. I've only done about 100km, but very impressed with the build quality, willing engine and level of technology. The superb 206 would be a nice upgrade, a real wolf in sheep's clothing!
