    G’day everyone,
    My name is Tom.
I have many problems with my VW Passat B7 and some were fixed by solutions found on this awesome community.
My car still feels great to drive but kind of expensive to maintain. I hope it run for maybe another 100,000kms before my next VW.
    Nice to meet you all,
    Tom

I know what you mean. Back in the day people would ask about my Ducati and I'd say fantastic to ride, horrible to own. I think much of the problem is that in Australia we seem to pay vastly more for parts than in places like the UK. When I was after wheel sensors for example you could get Lucas sensors in the UK for a quarter of the price of Chinese ones here.

    Welcome to the forum.

I know some people would pay extra to get high quality parts, and nowadays we can easily get lots of stuffs from UK or China/Taiwan in 1-2 weeks. But labour cost is somehow a bit high given the low quality works of some mechanics (or I am that unlucky).
