    New Guy from Perth

Hey everyone, Sergio here aka [ DreamCarHire ]

Im new to this Forum, but not new to VW as I've had a VR6 & Gti mk1 in the past as well as many other motors ( very understanding wife ) - like i say " many cars, one wife".

Anyway, I've just bought my first Scirocco R, and i just got an APR Stage1 on it... what a beast !! the biggest problem now is 'traction'... or the lack of it I've also ordered the APR CAI and the VWR Springs, so it should look as good as it looks.

    Future plans would be;
    - Better gripping tyres
    - Coil overs VWR
    - Front Splitter
    - APR Downpipe, or similar
    - APR Fuel pump
    - Big Brake Kit
    - Vented Seybon CF bonnet ( just cause it looks good)

Then i believe i'd have the best daily in town...

If any one here has anything from my wish list-----> Speak up !!
    2012 Scirocco R - My daily

    Hi Sergio - welcome.

If you want improved traction, consider a dogbone engine mount insert. Also some gripper R spec tyres won't hurt either (just get ready for some additional noise). This'll help, but traction on a powerful FWD will always be an issue - you'll need to learn to drive around it.

With the coilovers, I strongly suggest you consider KW's... I had them on my last Golf and I absolutely swear by them.

Forget the bonnet. Don't wreck the refinement of your VW

Be picky with your brake kit choice as well. I ran brembos on mine and they were brilliant, although initial bite was very strong for the street...

The mods will unlock the power, but you will lose refinement/ride quality somewhat. Be mindful of that.
