Hi everyone, new forum member....So yesterday I picked up a new car for the missus and went again the general consensus by buying the VW Polo GTI MY13.5 with the CTHE engine and 7 speed DSG!

In my defence the example is virtually a brand new car, has done less than 15k kms, has not a mark inside or out and lived in a garage in a rural area of NSW. So I am fairly happy that the car is genuine, has not just done inner city short trips (mostly into Sydney and out again) and road tested very well with no obvious oil deposits around the tail pipe and no hint of issue with the DSG (tested thoroughly given the online reputation!).

The car still smells brand new, goes very well for a tiny little thing and the missus is made up! Oh, its a white one. Every one of the cars the owner had was immaculate and they had a genuine reason for sale (company car) and even teared up as we drove off!

Whether I live to regret the purchase we'll see but I hope not as its a cracking little performance car!
