New Golf driver - toe-out setting suggestions

I've driven Subaru's for the last decade or so, but got curious about Audis and then decided to buy myself a Golf. So now owner of a Mk 7. Very impressed by car, particularly the economy, the incredible sound-proofing, engine power and overall fit and finish. Not super happy to have steelies on as this is a 90 TSI but may upgrade to alloys if I find a good deal.

Car seems to have a rear wheel bearing going. My guess is that previous owner impacted something as the left rear tyre is not the original but the right hand rear is (and has plenty of tread). So new tyres first and wheel alignment to see if noise goes away.

With a Subaru, I usually had front toe set to slightly positive as I found zero toe overly stable and some positive produced much much more enjoyable handling. So I'm open to suggestions as what to have dialed in by my local tyre place. I am finding that the electromechanical steering has much less feedback than the hydraulic steering Subarus I have driven.
