New Alltrack

I have the new Golf Alltrack. I am coming from a Focus ST and am loving my shiny new ride so far but I do miss the voice control and the dynamic guidelines on the reversing camera.

The DSG is silky smooth even at low revs and the engine sings - I don't miss the loss of power at all.

Probably lines only come with a driver assist package or similar. They come from a module on the steering rack.

Voice may only be with Satnav entertainment unit

I have the DAP and the ACC is awesome but no voice out of the box and I have started reading about VW's proprietary system which sounds rubbish. The dynamic lines in the reverse camera on the Ford are very well executed as are voice commands - 2 areas where VW fail.

There are however tons of convenience features in the VW that are very well done, just not those 2.

Well mine has it all except adaptive chassis and with the RNS510 it has voice which I havent bothered with and the reversing lines bend with the steering ok.
