    N00b to forum - 2015 VW Golf R

    Hi there,

I recently picked up a mk7 2015 Golf R with a touch over 41,000km in the lapiz blue from a dealer (so could get finance) very happy with it, just doing all the maintenance items as she (prior owner) seemed to just do a yearly oil service. Also, the prior owner had obviously parked it under a flowering gumtree. Was fun getting those little yellow fluffy flower fur bits out of everywhere.. the cabin filter was completely clogged with them.
So, just giving it TLC but she looks and drives superb regardless.

Have previously owned a few cars in my time that were quite fun. Most recently a e46 BMW M3 which I do regret selling but was getting near the 200km mark and needed some funds.. including a few others that have appreciated in value since I owned them back in the early to late 2000s such as a 93' Nissan GTR, Group A Toyota GT4 #80 of 150, type x 180sx with 260rwkw... and too many others.

As for this R I plan on keeping this for the long run, so I'll be asking the odd question and reading posts when necessary.

    Cheers

Welcome and congrats on the new car. The Mk7 R becomes a very quick little car with a tune so given your past history with cars, im sure it wont be long before you are looking into this option. When this time comes, go see the boys at Underground Performance.
