Long time lurker, first time poster. Recently took possession of my second VW, a B8 Passat 140TDI highline sedan (with luxury and r-line packs). Very pleased, makes a good replacement to my Mark V Jetta. As hard as I tried to fall for something else (BMW, Mercedes, Volvo...) I still wound up back at the VW dealer.

Anyway is an absolute joy to drive and am very happy I looked past my initial prejudice about going diesel.
