    Mk3 Vento Driver from Perth

    Hi guys,

Bought a MK3 Vento for $1500, love the car. Fuel pump was on the way out and finally crapped out on me as I went to leave work yesterday. Pace Autowerks helped me out and I should be up and running tomorrow.

I commentate for drag racing and speedway at the Perth Motorplex as a side gig and sell camper trailers by day. I subscribe a bit of a mighty car mods attitude when it comes to my cars (think their budget street cred golf). Make it low, make it fat, make people either say "that looks awesome" or "what the hell is he trying to do with that car??"

Looking to throw some coilovers and 5 spoke steel wheels at the Vento some time in the next few weeks. Paint is pretty ragged on the roof, boot and bonnet so I'm thinking I'll rub the flaking clear off it, clean it with a steel pad and clear over the paint. Might throw some satin black wrap to neaten it up.

    Cheers guys!

Welcome, good to see another Vento owner signing up, there are a few of us on here. Have a play in the Mk3 section and get some ideas. I'd be keen to see a pic, even if it's granny spec atm. Sounds like a fun project.
