Long time enthusiast - new to VW

Hi all,
fully fledged car nut, owned lots of BMW's but started to head to VW when I traded my 740 on a Skoda Superb. Incredible car for the $$. Always wanted a GTI, but my 6'8" frame wouldn't fit. Then by accident sat in a MK7 and discovered that I fit!!

Traded my 530 sport on a manual GTI 12 months ago and haven't looked back, best car I've ever owned. Looking to make a couple of upgrades, so you'll see me asking questions from time to time.

Which series 530 did you drive and was it a manual too?

I think the Mk 7 is a brilliant car - love changing gears too without the clutch as the gearbox is so slick.
