Welcome Simon
I think I'm the only other Vic 9n3 tdi left here (Josh passed his on to his old man, Scotty had his written off by 4wd).
I've done a bit of stuff in all those areas except the FMIC (to come with some further mods)
Recommendations: get a tune, cup kit or quality coil overs (not the stuff designed just to slam), a head unit that allows for high pass filtering to the main channels and a sub. Get SEAT PD160 intake if you can get one at a reasonable price (probably UK) and the Forge short shifter is a decent upgrade too.
You do not need a rear anti-roll bar with a cup kit or coil overs as they all seem to stiffen the rear more than the front so you naturally get a more balanced car (but just about nobody agrees with me on this).
Wheels are mainly about style so get what you like the look of but I prefer not to reduce offset much as found going from the stock 43mm down to 38mm with the same tyres made it steer like a truck (but just about nobody agrees with me on this).
Upgrading the speaker drivers is a whole of work for very little benefit if you have he filtering I recommended earlier (but just about no on agrees with me on this)
Fitting the 42DD shifter bushes is worthwhile with the stock shift but doesn't make a huge difference if you have the Forge short shifter (but just about no on agrees with me on this)
You don't need bigger brakes, a pad upgrade will be more than enough (but just about no on agrees with me on this)
Without heavy mods, the tunes from different companies all have a similar result so get one that is either switchable or has a loader (I have Viezu, DNA Tuning has this amongst others).
Do not get a polyureathane torque arm insert as your car will rattle your teeth in normal driving (proven by Scotty so I only use one for track days) and don't put in the SEAT front control arm rear bushes unless you intend to track your car - the extra NVH below 1500rpm isn't worth it (I may revert if I can get around to fabricate some insertable stiffeners for track days)
Enjoy the torque in traffic and out of turns, especially when driving with gassers. Vent you tank when filling and shoot for 1100km. Come out on Polo cruises and embarass the bigger VWs on general cruises.
