Hi all, long time VW owner here, but only recently a Passat CC owner with an RNS510 I'm desperate to update (downloading kamold's firmware as I type) so I can get 7 digit post code searches working. Been looking though a few posts here as I wait for the download to complete and concluded its a pretty good forum so figured I would join up.

Passat CC is my first foray into "grown up" motoring after a long lasting love affair with Corrado's and a few years in the wilderness with an hateful '01 Audi A3. But for fun I have an Elise because I haven't gown up that much but I'm loving the CC's effortless and comfortable nature in contrast to the Lotus.

Just make sure you are using the Europe firmware or you won't have room for the Western Europe maps.

Yes that is correct for you.
I gave up responding on the blog as it gets heaps of spam and most of the questions were just being repeated.
