Hi there all. Great Forum !
I am located in the Byron Bay area, looking for an alternative for servicing. I have a 2008 4motion ex NSW Ambo.
Our local dealership monopoly ( from Lismore to Brisbane ) are painfully expensive and seem to be hamfisted. Everytime I go in there it seems to be 1200!
I had the High beam microswitch fail ... The whole column stalks etc has to be replaced. $700 later and that evening driving to Sydney, hit heavy fog and go for the wipers, they fail. Off the road and into the scenery at 110 KPH...... Nothing to do with their work that day on the switches, took no ownership at all.
Frustrated and need an alternative service recommendation and don't mind heading to the Gold Coast for it.
Any suggestions?
