Took delivery of a new GTI PP DSG 2 days ago. Studied the car and alternatives for 6 months. Wanted something more practical (and refined) than my 2011 Mustang V6 (6MT) but still had the power to amuse. My first impression is "Why did I wait?" I love it! On one hand it's all grown up and respectable, quietly confident - but then a corner appears... and it just wants to run up to it like a pup playing fetch - respectability be damned.
