A few pic's of my R36.
Hey VW lovers just joined the forum and hope to meet some interesting people on here who share the same passion as me (cars) and everything involved with them.
Little bit about myself - I have been in to cars pretty from when I was a junior helping out my Father and Brother with their cars and getting my hands on anything that needed fixing for a challenge which I love.
My first car was of course a VL Turbo BT1 but I did not hang with the crowd that give the car a bad name and preferred to be solo and do my own thing ,after 8 years of ownership and a lot of money spent at Bresciani racing on tunes I let my pride and joy go as I had other commitments like marriage and you know the rest....
I had a good break from any type of car that gave you a thrill and have been driving an AH Astra around for the last 6 years.
Only 2 weeks ago I purchased an immaculate R36 Sedan in Biscay blue with only 38,000km.I had been looking at this car running past the dealership on my daily run and just about fell over when I saw it and yep I had to have it.
I test drove a couple about 6 months earlier but were not very happy as the first one felt like it had been thrashed and the other had marks all over the duco and the interior was tacky.
Looking forward to asking some questions on the forum and also helping anyone with technical stuff as I am confident and well seasoned working with engines, brakes etc and anything electronic related.
Cheers....

Thanks ,yeah was very lucky and this car was actually traded in on a BMW then purchased from BMW by the used car manager at VW and trucked down to their dealership where I jumped on it ...
I have been looking for a while now and was not having much luck and it was just a matter of right place at the right time I guess.
I have already upgraded the parkers to phillips L.E.D's with the resistors that go inline with the wiring to the parkers.
Took the wheels off last week and polished up the calipers and coated them in a fresh coat of clear hot paint to keep the original look.
I have plans to fit the DRL's at some stage in the near future and have seen the exact ones I want that replace the factory indicators in the front bar and they dim when you put the indicators on (probably old news to you guys on here)...
