Hi! Bought a 16' Polo GTI as a daily to go along with my Supercharged Magna

Thought i'd join up to the forums as being on other car forums, it's always a great place to chat and find out information on various topics.

Currently waiting delivery on a 16' Polo GTI in manual with the luxury pack. Was tossing up a little hot hatch to have as a daily drive. Went through a few different options (fiesta ST, 20 but just found the polo to have the most complete package i was after.

Already have a set of Bridgestone RE003's to swap onto it (if anyone is after a set of the Continental Contipremium2 tyres it comes with, I'll have them up on gumtree for $450 once i get delivery of the car in a few days) but other than that will leave it as is for a while.

My other car is a tad unqiue. Some people call me stupid, but thats half of why i love it, it's so unexpected people actually love it. But i have a supercharged magna vr-x. Making 275 kw atw on 6psi with no intercooler running and a beyond terrible piggyback ecu. It's currently back at the mechanics getting a full Haltech elite 2500 ECU installed along with a smaller pulley, (we will actually get the intercooler running - its a W2A and the water pump was leaking) so should see numbers over the 300kw atw mark which will be pretty awesome haha. It has had an engine conversion going from the standard 3.5L to the 3.8 out of the mitsubishi 380. To do so, a lot of the newer technology in the 3.8 has to be changed back to original 3.5 parts, now with the haltech elite, we will be able to convert it all back, so wil be running COP, DBW etc etc which will be sweet!

Got delivery of my Polo GTi the other day. Absolutely love the car! Very different to drive than my other car.

I have a set of wheels lined up that are 17x8 +35. Does anyone have any advice on springs? I'm looking at the VWR ones, but am worried whether the drop will be too much with wheels of that offset? Or do I go the ebiach springs that are a little bit less of a drop?
