Hi guys....Had a few VW's over the years. Missus currently has a Golf Mk7. I've had a Golf R Mk6 with APR stage 2. Had a stock Mk 6 GTI before that. I currently have a 2018 Tiguan 162tsi. Looking to upgrade to a Tiguan R in next few weeks. Will also be looking to buy a a Mk7 or Mk8 Golf R very soon for a bit of fun when not driving the kids around (mid life crisis?)
Have had quite a few different cars over the years....mainly Jap sports cars (wrx's, 200sx's, Evo 3, R33GTR many moons ago). One thing I can say, once you go European you never want to go back.
Happy to share my experiences with Golf R, GTI & the Tiguan over the years. (One thing I learnt is to always have a set of ignition coils in the boot of my Golf R, because you never knew when you're gonna need to change them).

Hi and welcome. I was looking at photos of both my old 200sx's last week....damn I wish I had kept them.

Tiguan R is a cool SUV - im sure you will love it.
