Just bought this:









And looking to get active in the forum and attend some local meets and drives etc....
Will probably do a few mods to the car in stages - to keep my interest in her.

I have had a few VAG cars in the past, but the last GTI was back in 1995 when I had a 1985 Mk2 GTi that I modified with factory 90 spec bodywork (including G60 arches) de-badged grille, big windows and 16" OE look BBS wheels..... I know, I should have just bought a 90 spec car in the first place BUT, the car was fitted with a 2.1 litre TSR 8valve engine and had factory recaro seats and rear headrests....

... Anyway, I will keep things fairly simply with the MkV. Stage 1, Induction and exhaust is likely the most I will do.
