I'm new to this forum, and really don't know how active I'll be - but I just updated my RNS510 firmware according to this post:

And wanted to put in my 2 cents:

My unit: Firmware 1202, P/N 1T0 035 680 B

I was unabled to update until I burned the iso "Firmware 402x modified" at 1X speed - using the track at once and finilazed cd in CDXpburner. - don't waste time trying if it is not set at 1x

The upgrade was successful, and took just over an hour - so make sure you plug in a batter minder/charger before starting the update process!

Everything seems to have worked great. Also, I found a copy of the Eastern European V9 maps - and I will post (I have the link saved at home).
