    Hello from a Newbie in Palm Beach, QLD

    I've been searching for a van to replace my 1992 Toyota Hiace LWB. I got interested in VW's as I really wanted a 4WD or at least AWD. Today I purchased a 2000 LWB T4 Transporter Syncro. It was originally in the NSW Ambulance service. It's diesel, 5 speed manual, AWD, a/c, has a sliding door each side, electric mirrors, central locking and windows that you wind. Only van with EVERYTHING on my wish list plus this had a Trakka pop top, awesome walled awning and tow bar. I found this forum in a google search looking for a remote fob. I've just discovered that one of the keys has a button, battery and transmitter in it .... so I'll be buying a new battery tomorrow and saving a fortune from a re-program.
    It's great that this forum is here to enhance the experience of beautifully engineered automobiles.
