Hey All
Name is Nathan. Recently purchased a 2010 Skoda Octavia RS for my wonderful wife. Very happy with the car and its in awesome condition. Once we have some time ill get some pics up. It really is a good looking car.
Apparently we didn't do our homework and the car has no bluetooth from what I can figure out. From what I can see FISCON is the answer but as the car is post 2009 I will need VAG-COM codes to get it to work? Can anyone shed some light on what they are, how, where and how much that will cost? The FISCON unit looks pretty much plug and play but my experience installing stereos was all in late 90s cars...
Do yourself a favour and get an OEM 9w7 kit.
I'm yet to meet someone who is happy with their kufatec Bluetooth unit.
5mins coding is that is required, find someone near you with vcds and offer them beer.
