    Good day!

Hi all. I'm a proud owner of a Mk7 golf GTI. Had it for almost half a year now and i'm loving it more and more each day!

Might be considering an APR stage 1 in the near future. By the way, have anyone used Eurocare in Perth? Read they took over from Quattto. Are they as good? I have been quoted $450 for a 1year/15k servicing which is basically dealer pricing.

    Haven't used them yet.

got my RS4 booked in for a new clutch next month.

Fingers crossed they don't stuff it it! LOL

The APR specialist moved from Quattro to Eurocare, so you shouldn't have any issued with any APR work

Cool! Do let us know how it goes! Are you going to start servicing with them as well?

Hi, Below is my recent experience.

I have recently had my car serviced by Euro car for the first time since Brian and Pat retired. While it was there having a 15k service I asked them to check a few things that were starting to concern me......

Firstly upon picking the car up they informed after looking over the car for me they think a part is potentially wearing out and would need replacing in the future. So I did a bit of searching on etka and google and it turns out my car does not have this part fitted so i'm not sure how clued up they are on VW/Audi's, my car isn't anything special like an RS6/5/4. As far as i'm aware only one of the guys (Jake)from quattro motors has moved to eurocare. from looking at the other cars in the workshop and posters/signage I believe they mainly deal with french/Italian cars.

Secondly I think they are a lot more expensive than quattro motors, my invoice quoted $110 per hour labour and the cost for two parts in my opinion was ridiculous, even with the exchange rate and postage I could have bought them from ecs for a third of the price, this is my own fault as I should have asked for a quote first. And to top it all off the parts in my opinion (and the Bentley manual) were not fitted correctly. There is a very precise way of tightening the bolts and this was not done. they also didn't do (or take to have done) a wheel alignment, as it turned out it was out by several mm's on the drivers side and would have destroyed the tyre within months if I hadn't had it checked.

Thirdly they couldn't do the third item I asked about so in the end I bought a ecu diagnostic cable and downloaded VCDC lite and did it my self.

Don't get me wrong they are friendly and were nice enough to squeeze me in to look at my when it car developed a fault on the way to work one morning.

I will probably get the basic oil changes done by them in the future for the log book but for replacement parts and other technical service items like the clutch on a RS4 i'm not so sure I would/will be getting them to do it.....

    Hope that is somewhat helpful

Nice write up. I was going to use them but didn't like the guys attitude on the phone.... Ended up going to EuroSpec which I'm glad I did.

I would just like to add the parts they fitted didn't solve the problem I have..........I think I will just have to buy a complete front arm kit and replace them all myself and hope that fixes the issue.

Wow ok. Thanks for letting us know! Thought so as they mainly work with French cars. Perhaps give them another few years?

I had my clutch done by them with no issues and 2 weeks later, the car is still running! LOL

I went to them as Quattro Motors encouraged me there (following Jake).

However, there are a few other mechanics around, and I know Ramp in Malaga seem to be quite popular at the moment
