Hey all, new to the VW scene so please be gentle! LoL
End of last year I acquired a VW Jetta 147 tsi 2009 model. Dsg.

Smooth and cruisey to drive which ticked the boxes where I was concerned.
120k on it and had only been sat in on the drivers seat.
Still smelt new inside when I got her.

Recently I had a couple issues arise which id like to bounce off you guys if that's ok.
First one happened around 1.5 weeks ago, which seems to have fixed itself, which is good and bad.

While driving in heavy rain on the motorway, I can only explain what felt like the car popped out of gear, and the revs spiked.
The car wouldn't select gears and I noticed the PRNDS light flashing on the dash.
The car went into limp mode and I sat on the side of the road until the traffic died down to try to make my way closer to home.
a couple hours later I drove home, the engine light was on but surprisingly it was driving normal.
i did read the codes and reset them.
cant recall the code off the top of my head but have it saved somewhere.
this issue hasn't arisen since but I spoke with a couple of mechanics who said its most likely the mechatronic unit that needed replacing. Not fun. And expensive from what I've heard.

the most recent one is a little more frustrating and completely unpredictable.
The engine fault Epc warning comes up and it's barely drivable at all.
most of the time switching off the car counting to 10 then restarting the car fixes this issue as a short term work around.
but I haven't been able to find anything solid regarding a long term resolution or fix.
Erorr codes at the moment are ;
545 angle sensor for throttle (G18 &
289 throttle position sensor (G69)
They are both clearable with the scanner I'm using at the moment, but today it keep throwing them up every km I tried to drive home.

If I could find a clear answer on how to fix it I would!
im open to suggesting and any help / feedback would be amazing.
I just don't want to start throwing money away on replacing things that aren't needed at this stage.

Its a daily drive, and I do uber on the side at the moment to help with growing family costs! 3 little ones and trying for a fourth!
So embarrasing when it happens with a customer in the car and would really like to fix this asap.
