I saw you had some issues with your headlights but sorry I can't shed any light (pardon the pun).
If you don't have any response in the audio/electronics section try posting in the Tiguan forum area also. The other thing you can do is search for Mk6 Golf as the two vehicles share a lot in common.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I've only had the car for 2 weeks and its been a dream to drive. I'll defenitley post some pics soon. I didn't realise how sensitive the electrical system is but sure I'm in the right place for good advice. Thanks for the tips.
