    Future Skoda RS owner

    Hi Everyone,

I hopefully will be buying a new Skoda RS 162 in the next few weeks. Unsure if im going the wagon or hatch but it must be DSG and have tech pack. Im coming from a Ford FG G6ET which has been faultless for 106k but due to 600kms a week and 13litres per 100km of 98 isnt making me happy anymore. I will miss the roar power but i will enjoy the beautiful comfortable cabin of the skoda and the much better fuel economy.

You know what else, the fact you can park it a hell of a lot easier and not have so many tools scratch the sides it's ever shrinking car park widths! The paint is a lot more robust on our Skoda than our Mazda 6 and way better than our Hyundai Santa Fe even though it's older than both were.

The G6ET is incredibility fast accelerating from 100 to 150 - totally awesome

You can flash the Skoda ECU to get ~200kw (also need a new down pipe and high flow CAT) - drops about 45km off the tank range (although you could switch the ECU to stock during the daily grind)
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels

    Thanks guys.
Yes it is extremely fast from 0-160. 0-100 has seen 4.7 on a cool night after a bit of tyre warming and a 1/4 mile of 12.85 at a 112mph out of a stock car. On the street it wheel spins from late first till mid 2nd. I will miss eating HSV clubsports.
No the skoda will stay stock. No more modifying cars my previous BF xr6 turbo was modified with 350 rwkw but it broke everything.

Well hopefully next weekend this time I will have signed up for a new or demo Skoda Octavia RS either hatch or wagon. I have picked 3 dealers in Sydney to visit. I hope a deal can be done.
