Despite being a woman of a "certain age", and having owned a variety of cars, my current drive is my first VW. It's a 2012 MK6 GTI, I've had it for 2 years now and am loving it. I get plenty of comments regarding the fact that it's a manual- apparently I'm old school , but I reckon it's the only way to drive this fun car!
On the downside, I'm discovering there are a lot of "known" problems with this model; I've had to replace the radiator recently and tomorrow am getting the intake manifold replaced due to the "known" problem with the brittle plastic flap...I'm hoping this forum will be able to alert me to any other problems that aren't known to me yet
