first post, electrical issues vw polo 2007 gti

Hi Guys,

Apologies if this isn't in the correct section. Very new to this.

I have a vw polo 2007 gti. Lately ive noticed the headlights losing voltage when I steer generally at almost stand still speeds. Ive also noted the indicator when indicating making the headlights dim in rhythm. The headlights at times will brighten and dim depending on the revs.

Any ideas as to the issue? Any help would be much appreciated

Could be a bad earth somewhere, possibly under the dash.

Thanks mate, also to add to this as I turned into my street the power streering light came on and it died also...

Yeh sounds like a bad earth...

Thanks guys, anyone out there happen to know the main earthing points and their location? The cars very new to me so still learning.
