First 'modern' VW

Hi everyone,

Obviously just joined the forum and saying G'day......

Just bought an '06 T5 Crewvan, manual 2.5 TDI with BPC engine, which is my first modern water cooled Vee Dub and a diesel to boot. I have owned a number of air cooled VW's throughout my life, including '58 Beetle, two '59 Splitties and quite a few Bay Window Kombis.
I'm just about to move to the Sunshine Coast and the T5 is part of that. I like to learn as much as I can about the cars I own and drive and forums are a great way to do this. I'm also a member of the U.K. T4/T5 forum and a few other VW forums.

Yes, it's pretty nice for sure......
Amazing that VW has continued on from what it started with the T1 in 1950. Now 65 years later we have the T6!
