First dub, something easy -05,t5,auto in pieces

The ad was honest so i did some interweb research and this turned out to be a much discussed model. So i bought it. First piece was the body, straight and tidy swb breadbox, barndoors .2nd piece 2.5tdi engine ,tidy but suss elecky tape on coolant hose. 3rd piece through to seems like infinity is the auto. Always keen for a new project and this one should save me time cause somebody else already pulled things apart and saved me the drama of having to lose bits myself.
I did say i had been interwebbing before i went into this (how i found this forum ,and a few others) and I have never seen such universal agreement on any one subject (the 05 t5 with auto). I think VW must have made this model to bring peace and harmony to the interweb ,god bless'em. Anyway all my previous projects were technically last century's models so this should be a good course in modern automotive teknolledgy. So hello to all and the adventure begins..........

    Hello notabot,
It will be interesting to hear what you have to do to get things sorted out there.
