How will you be going from a 1.6 to a 1.8T if you're not allowed to have turbocharged engines on P's. Unless you're waiting to get on your full license haha

I've had a 1.8t for all 5 years of my p's. Registered it in my mums name so whenever I got speeding ticket or they asked me whose car this is I just say mum and they don't say anything even with the quad exhaust and 19 inch wheels

Insurance is also mum with me listed as second driver, it's only 110kw no many people consider it very powerful

hahahaha bit suss when you have a nice ride and you say its mum's :L, but yeah it is a good idea to convert to 1.8T just not sure whether it would pay off. There isn't anything else that would increase performance in an auto 1.6 apart from an ECU remapping and an engine conversion is there?

Not really, unless you can find nice steep hill. Put a 1.8t and just keep it stock looking. Chances are no cop will even look twice at you, insurance is another kettle of fish though
