    Dropping in to say hi

    Hi everyone,

    Life long VW fan (thanks to my folks) and I've been reading a lot of articles on here so I thought it was about time I registered and contributed!

    I'm currently driving a Mk6 MY11 GTI in metallic black (no mods or tunes) and I've just paid the deposit on a MK7 MY16 GTI. Been driving golfs and polos most of my driving life - the new car will be my 8th VW!

    Started on a Mk5 Polo 1.2, then moved up to a Mk5 Polo 1.4, then a 2.0 SDI Golf, a MK 5 1.6 Golf TSI, a MK5 GT TDI (140bhp), a MK5 GT TDI (170 bhp) then the Mk6 GTI and now i'm getting the Mk 7 - quite a lot of cars over 10 years!

    I've had my fair share of issues, not least on the Mk5 GT TDI (170) which kept going into limp mode due to the DPF - happy for people to ask me questions if they are having similar issues!

    Also had my car recently detailed and it's up for sale. So i'll make sure to put a review of the detailing up!
