Does torque mount insert cause dog-bone bushing to wear faster?-20200429_121831-jpg
update, postie guy came today with all my stuff, mount insert and lower control arm bushings, Immediately drop down everything im doing and go jack up the car. after an hours of hard work. here is the outcome...

NVH is very noticeable when car is in D and foot on the brake (sitting at traffic light). also when car is creeping. with our without AC about the same. but if u throw it in neutral or once u get moving it's hardly noticeable. power respond/shift is slightly more crisp. not a major change imo i think tiguan was made to be comfort car not sport car. i hope the vibration when in D and on brake can reduce in time.

got whiteline Lower control arm bushings. steering respond little slightly better, but braking is so much smoother now, the 'BANG' shock when tap on the brake has completely gone. however i think i'll need a wheel alignment. >_<

A mate had a rubber (whatever it is) dogbone insert and didn't like the vibrations. When we removed it, it broke in half. I put the useable half in my car with a home made retainer.

It's been brilliant. That was about 7 years back. It probably flops around like a **** in a shirtsleeve now.

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
