Cant really recall,but I'm sure I have seen the Infotainment screen in Passatts having the DAB. Maybe it was a European picture but I was wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a upgrade to the B8 Passatt radio system so I can have DAB?I don't know if I'm posting right or even asking the right questions.My wife just bought a Korean car (I wont say which one) and that has a full blown DAB.Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

DAB is not offered as an option in Australia.
If you wanted the DAB capable Discover Pro system you would need to replace the Discover 'brain' unit which resides in the glovebox with a DAB version and install a DAB antenna.

Thanks for that little bit of info,Im only new to this so can you tell me where do I start and who do I see please.Im in Sydney,as in is it sound system companies or VW itself. Its pretty poor not to offer it as standard,but even worse not even a option.

You can't get it from VW you can get them from aftermarket suppliers of OEM parts like VW Central or JKU who are sponsors of this forum.
