    Decision time

    Hi all,
    Long time reader first time poster.
    I have a white 2011 MY11 Polo gti 6R 5dr. It's stock standard with the factory moonroof and bi Xenon lights. It's done 31000kms. I absolutely love it, I've owned many cars over the years but this is by far the best engineered and most fun to drive.
    I am torn between either upgrading my current gti with a better sound system with bluetooth (annoyingly mine didn't have this out of the factory), oz racing wheels, APR (or similar) tune, perhaps new suspension/shocks, or;
    Selling my Polo and buying the new 1.8T polo gti when it comes out in May.
    The thing that puts me off the new Polo is that the sports select suspension/steering etc isn't going to be an option for Australian buyers, and the fact that we won't be able to buy it in 3dr. I had thought that it might be nice to have a 3dr instead of a 5dr this time as something different.
    I had been hoping that VW would release a Polo R but it seems this is not likely to happen now, unless anyone knows/speculates differently? Perhaps they might give the Audi S1 a year or so to sell and then release a Polo R? Unfortunately I don't like the looks of the S1 enough to justify paying for the Audi badge.

    Thoughts? Opinions?

    Thanks all

    Hey mate,
    I'll be honest I don't own a VW (at the moment), but intend to purchase the new polo gti model arriving in May. From my understanding the new upgrade has additional features which come standard, which is always a bonus but like you said your not after a 5d and you dislike the fact that the new version does not offer the sports select which I thought it did?, I'd upgrade the beast in the garage.
