    Dad life - wagon life

Soo picked up a brand new golf R wagon couple days ago...

I thought I was going to wait for the Mk 8 Golf R in Q1 2021 - but thought like the Mk7 Golf R they need some time to refine it and improve the hybrid tech so made the jump for a fully optioned Wagon.

I'm coming from a slightly modified WRX STI Spec R and even though the wrx feels more mechanical and provides are more visercal feel when driving, I am loving all the tech and refinment of the Golf. It's also a missile with the capabaility for even greater speed than my WRX in a few years time.

The wagon is, on the extreme, slightly less sharp than the hatch, but that's for only the 3% of the driving that it will be doing (having learnt from owning a WRX that track days only make up 3-4 days out of 365days in a year.

I'm looking for hundreds of thousands of Kms of trouble free motoring like I had with my scooby - I hope I got a decent VDub!

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
